With over 25 years of health and aged care industry experience, Rod has an in-depth understanding of the health and aged care environment, as well as the complexities faced by operators and Facilities Managers on a daily basis.
As a specialist in health and aged care property facilities management, Rod’s in-depth knowledge and experience has been of benefit to clients both within Australia and abroad.
Rod has worked with organisations, such as Thiess Services and Leighton Contractors in Australia, to create successful PPP bids for the Royal North Shore Hospital, valued at $1.4 billion, and for seven Queensland State Government schools, valued at $189 million. With Spire Healthcare in the United Kingdom, he established a new facilities management service delivery model for 37 hospitals across the country.
Rod’s earlier career saw him establish health care consulting and advisory company, Menette Pty Ltd, in 1993. The company provided innovative solutions in facilities management and maintenance for hospitals, aged care facilities and day hospitals, as well as commercial and industrial properties.
Shaneene has over 18 years of health and aged care industry experience, both within Australia and abroad. Her passion for the industry originated back in 1997 when she commenced work at Menette Pty Ltd, a specialist health and aged care property facilities management company.
Over the years, Shaneene has worked extensively with key Executive staff, Facilities Managers and Maintenance Managers within public and private hospitals, aged care facilities and day hospitals, providing tailored property facilities management solutions.
During her time with Menette, Shaneene was integral to the development and implementation of the preferred facilities management service delivery model across Affinity Health’s 48 hospitals, as well as facilities management service delivery models across Calvary Health Care, St John of God and St Vincent’s Private Hospital.
Shaneene was also fundamental in the development, marketing, implementation and client training of Total FMS, Menette’s computerised maintenance management system.
With over 15 years experience in the health and aged care industry, Karen brings with her a wealth of specialised knowledge and skills across public and private hospitals, aged care facilities and day hospitals.
As a specialist in property facilities management data, Karen was integral to the implementation and ongoing management of Menette’s computerised maintenance management system, Total FMS. She also played a key role in the asset data collection across 60 hospitals around Australia, client training, as well as system help and support.
Karen’s genuine passion towards the health and aged care industry is apparent by the way she interacts with clients, albeit Executive staff, Facilities Managers or maintenance staff.
Les has over 20 years experience in the aged care industry. As a specialist in asset management, as well as business-specific processes and systems, Les’s skill-set and knowledge base is both valuable and diverse.
Over the years, Les has worked in a number of key roles, including Commercial Manager, Asset Manager, National Business and Operations Manager and Financial Manager.
Having worked with the fifth largest for profit aged care provider, Lend Lease Retirement Living & Aged Care (formerly Babcock & Brown Communities and Primelife Corporation), Les is familiar with the constantly changing landscape of the aged care environment. Naturally, this puts him in good stead to provide business-specific processes and systems, designed to enhance organisational effectiveness.
